Tragedy in Swat Valley: Flash Floods Claim Lives of Innocent Tourists


A devastating incident unfolded in Pakistan's Swat Valley on June 27, when sudden flash floods swept away a family on a picnic, claiming at least 11 lives, including children. The tragedy occurred when 17 members of a family from Sialkot were caught off guard by the swift surge of water while enjoying a riverside breakfast.

The family, comprising women and children, were picnicking near the Swat River when the unexpected floodwaters hit, leaving them little time to react.
